Steak and Potatoes

Today in class we cooked steak, caramelized onions, pommes frita, pommes anna, and creamed spinach. It was my job to cook the spinach dish and my own steak. I would say my steak got just a little overcooked but it was close to the perfect medium-rare. The creamed spinach turned out pretty good as well. My group thought that it was delicious. I think it was the first time anyone had tried it. Overall, I learned that I need to be better prepared and be ready for what is on the menu for the day and know what I am doing.
